Found items, logged to returned.

Lost & Found is the found-item custody log — from logged through claimed to returned or disposed — switched on per organisation from the App Store so reception always has a clear chain of custody.

Items turn up at reception all the time: a phone in the lobby, keys in a meeting room, a jacket in the car park. Lost & Found records each found item with where and when it was found, a description, a photo and where it's being held, then tracks it through to the owner claiming it — or disposal if it's never collected.

Built on the shared toolkit, it offers a status board (logged, claimed, returned, disposed), custom fields for storage location or value, import/export, and photo attachments so the item is easy to match to a claim. A clear custody trail protects reception and the building alike.

What Lost & Found does

Frequently asked questions

How is Lost & Found turned on?

An administrator enables it per organisation from the App Store. Reception can start logging items right away, with seats free for the team.

How are claims verified?

Each item carries a photo and the details of where and when it was found, so an owner's description can be matched against the log before handover.

What happens to items nobody claims?

Uncollected items can be marked for disposal once your holding period lapses, keeping the register and the cupboard tidy.

Is there a record of who took an item?

Yes — claims and returns are recorded with timestamps, giving a clear chain of custody that protects both reception and the claimant.
