Utilisation and stacking, area by area.

Space & Occupancy tracks utilisation and stacking by area and floor — switched on per organisation from the App Store and tied to the buildings and tenancies you already manage, so you can see how space is really used.

Space is one of the biggest costs in a building, and most of it is guessed at. Space & Occupancy records how each area and floor is used — its capacity, current occupancy and the tenancy or team it's allocated to — so you can stack a building, spot under-used space and plan moves with real numbers.

Built on the shared toolkit, it offers list, board and calendar views, custom fields for area or workstation counts, import/export for floor data, and photo attachments for plans. Because it sits beside Properties and Tenants, every area maps to the floor it's on and the tenancy that holds it — and utilisation tells you where the slack is.

What Space & Occupancy does

Frequently asked questions

How is Space & Occupancy turned on?

An administrator enables it per organisation from the App Store. You map your areas and floors with capacity and start tracking occupancy, with seats free.

What does the stacking view show?

It shows how each floor is allocated across tenancies or teams with utilisation in view, so you can read the whole building at a glance.

Does it connect to my tenancies?

Yes — each area maps to its floor in Properties and the tenancy or team in Tenants that holds it, connecting space to who occupies it.

Can it help me plan moves?

Yes. By surfacing under-used areas and showing occupancy against capacity, you can model moves and consolidations on real numbers rather than guesses.
